       In July 2015, Shandong Chiwell Biotechnology Co., LTD. (predecessor) was founded in the beautiful spring city of Jinan. Then, with the strong support of Ningbo Research Institute of Fudan University and Ningbo Municipal Government, Ningbo Chiwell Biotechnology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Chiwell) was founded in Hangzhou Bay New Area Ningbo in 2016.

Chiwell is a national high-tech company specializing in the research and development, production, sales and after sales service of pathology instrument. At present, the company has more than 150 employees, including 23 professional R & D personnel, and employs more than 30 scientific research university professors and hospital clinical experts as technical consultants.

Chiwell focuses on the independent research and development of pathology instrument (coverslipper, stainer, stainer and coverslipper, etc.), and has passed the certification of CE-IVDR, ISO13485 and other professional organizations at home and abroad, reaching the international production standards. In October 2017, Chiwell broke the industry barriers, technological innovation, launched China's first fully automatic stainer and coverslipper, lifted the trend of pathology industry, leading the further development of pathology;

In October 2019, Making pioneering efforts and innovative research and development, Chiwell launched the  first fully automatic stainer and coverslipper of the world for rapid freezing Sections;

In August 2021, Chiwell made a major breakthrough of technology, and the first separate-drop stainer and coverslipper for HE staining was launched.
